My name is Iris, and I have been living on the streets of New York for 15 years now. I am 57 years old and am a U.S. Army veteran. After I got back from the Vietnam war I had lost all of my family to the war. Both of my brothers and my father we were all drafted in and only one made it back. Before this my mother had died from cancer.

Once I returned home I was living in an old run down apartment living on the little money I made At my job as a cashier. But when I got fired for getting in a fight with a white man I had no money to pay the rent so I got evicted. at that time I had become addicted to drugs. I have been on the streets ever since then.

But now I have decided to get my life together after a long day of thinking about the last 15 years of my life. ..........

To Be Continued

My name is Phil Medford, I am homeless and I live in tent city Tennessee. I live here because I can't find a job. From experience living on the streets is dangerous and unhealthy.
Here in tent city there our 150 of us who live under a overpass bridge and have made up our own community. It's not the best but it will work for now. I feel more secure and safe here. I know that I have support from other residents also too help me find work and get back on my feet and find work, one day?

Hi my name is Morgan Freeman. I am now homeless because everyone I've ever known has been taken by a evil little girl, I believe she goes by Debbie. She is always after me, and she used to be good friends with my famous peoples and the people in my personal life and they all up and disappeared, I got blamed for fratricide of my whole family and my friends at work, I lost everything and almost went to prison, but now I'm nothing but a dirty, filthy hobo. Oh crap there she is the daemon girl, on the other side of the park, oh hell no she can teleport. Now I can't see her. Now all I can see is a walking snarling zombie humanoid wolf things and something with four holes in it's back lying on a big bed, Cain striding towards me, and oh crap the daemon girl, wait what's going on, she's kneeling by the bed and whispering. Now she is walking up to me with those big black eyes, I'm cornered. Did she just call me her slave friend, how does that work out?

Hello, my name is Domingo. I live on the sidewalk of 12000 south and state street in long beach California. I have no money and have one pair of pans, one shirt and one shoe. The only friends I have are the earthworms living inside my arm where I cut to give them a home. They are my life. Sometimes they even talk back to me!

There is no place that will hire me because of the way I look and smell, so it's hard to get money or even a new shirt. Even though this life is hard, I kind of like it. I'm always starving so that's a downer. But I can pretty much go behind any restaurant and find leftovers. That will be my dinner. But at least I have my worm friends. That's all I need!

Hello my name is Kaden. I have lost my home and I have lost everything that I ever loved. I started to lose hope in ever regaining my life back. I haven't played my flute since my family died.I suffer from depression. Is there a place for me out there or do I deserve to die.
My horrible tragedy happened on the night of my birthday. My wife and kids had left the house to go fetch my flute that I had always wanted. As they were coming back they were hit by a drunk driver. Everyone had died. I waited and waited for their return, but nothing. At around five in the morning a police officer had shown up to my door step and told me the news. I can't believe it. Was it a dream? I went down to the floor and started crying at the officer feet. I begged and begged to him to tell me it was true.
Ever since that day I couldn't bare the fact that their still gone. I stopped going to work and eventually the bank to my home and car. All I'm left with is the clothes on my back and the flute my wife and kids got me.

My name is Joe I live in LA on the streets. I grew up here with my parents but my parents kicked me out when I was eighteen years old. I was a drug addict and my drug of choice was meth. I got into the wrong crowd and was beat up many times because people claimed they were ripped off.
I spent fifteen years in Phoenix federal prison, for drug running and a bunch of other crap. I got out when I was forty three years old and have not been able to get a job. So I decided my death will be because of living on the streets. I decided to get back into meth, now look at me.

My name is Mary, I live in the poor part of LA. I just moved here because my parents were so bad in debt that we had to sell our house and move. I don't mind the move. I just miss the things I used to have. And I miss my friends. But I guess ill do what I half to do.

Not everything is bad here. I see a lot of mean looking people with a bunch of tattoos though. They kind of scare me, like a lot. One day I seen a bunch of them and then I heard a bang and one fell to the ground. That really scared me. Other than the scary people, I like where I live.

Hello, I'm Leonardo. I'm homeless and hopeless. Wherever I go people make fun of me, they call me bum and hobo. I am homeless because of the way everything ended. My story is a hard one to tell. it's about how my family ended and how I lost my house and car, etc. I'm working now though, trying my hardest to get it all back. Right now it's just difficult.
