Try not to let the aliens attack the ship its our last one, they are going to be mad now that we took down their ship we have one more we have to take out. Let's get out of here before those two come after us we'll come back tomorrow.
"Captain, we've destroyed the last battle cruiser!" The AI was relieved that they had avoided that last barrage of ion blasts.
"Good. Now, to find that last crystal."
One of the scanner supports came running through the door, looking like he was about to have a heart attack.
"Sir, we've been boarded by one of the enemy ships! We counted thirty life forms surging on the lower levels!" He looked young, like he was fresh out of the Academy, flushed with fear.
As Captain, I'm supposed to stay calm in situations like this. I swallowed my fear and kept my posture steady and smooth. "Thank you soldier. Tell the rest of scanner support to return to their quarters, and activate their room's emergency levels to two."
He saluted, then ran back to where he came from.
I sighed, running my hand over my face, turning to the ship's AI. "Cortana, this is going to be one hell of a ride."
"You said it Sir. I'll go wake up Chief now. We're going to need him."
